The Joslyn Art Museum expansion reimagines one of Omaha’s most important cultural institutions, introducing a contemporary addition that enhances the visitor experience while strengthening connections to the surrounding site. The project creates new gallery spaces, improved circulation, and a more open, accessible environment that invites greater public engagement. The building also achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and long-term performance.

JOSLYN ART MUSEUM
KL&A served as the steel detailer for the project, supporting a highly expressive structural system with complex geometries and long spans. Through detailed 3D modeling and close coordination with the design and construction teams, KL&A translated the design into precise, fabrication-ready steel components that aligned with the overall vision.
