OUR STORY
Our founders looked at an industry pulling design and construction further apart, and did the opposite: putting engineers and builders in the same room, working toward the same goal instead of guarding separate pieces of the project.

That decision shaped everything that came after. It's why our best clients say working with KL&A feels different. It's why, decades later, firms have tried to copy our model but no one has replicated it. And it's why we still believe better buildings come from integrated thinking, not isolated expertise.
