The Aims Community College Welcome Center serves as a new front door to campus, bringing together enrollment, advising, and student support services into a single, accessible hub. The building is designed to simplify the student experience, creating a clear and welcoming point of entry for prospective and current students.

AIMS

Open, light-filled spaces and a flexible structural system support a range of program needs while allowing for future adaptability. Close coordination between the architectural vision and structural design helped maintain transparency and efficiency throughout the building.

KL&A’s role as structural engineer and steel detailer enabled an integrated approach from design through fabrication. Early resolution of connections and constructability challenges improved coordination and supported a smooth installation process in the field.
