Rowland and Broughton acquired and remodeled an existing 3,000 sf downtown space for their now Denver office.  Scope included strengthening efforts for new buildout and reinforcing of exterior brick masonry walls.

106,000 sf in 3 stories, mass timber structural frame above grade with an additional occupied roof deck.

50,000 SF office building. Second floor and roof are cross laminated timber panels supported by steel beams and columns. First floor is cast-in-place concrete over supported by concrete columns and concrete walls. Building features sloping exterior canopy and exterior stair.

The project consists of a 2,500 sf penthouse on the top of the historic Crandall Building.  The remodel/addition to the Crandall Building brought the 1970's building up to 21st century standards while keeping the essence of the building that was originally designed by artist and architect Thomas W. National Renewable Energy Laboratories Research Support Facilities Building

 

Situated on the Golden, Colorado campus of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the 220,000 sf Research Support Facility is a showcase office building demonstrating that highly efficient, large scale buildings can be both aesthetically pleasing and cost-competitive.  The certified LEED-NC Platinum project is considered one of the most energy efficient buildings of its scale in the world and is on target to operate at a net-zero energy consumption annually.
